1. Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is found in the magnificent Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland. Covering an area of about 350,000 square kilometres and comprising of more than 900 islands and over 2,800 individual reefs, the Great Barrier Reef is considered the largest coral system not only in Australia, but also in the world. Its vastness can even be witnessed from outer space.
